Fried Plantains

Fried Plantains are eaten as an Ethiopian food recipe.
Ingredients
  • 3 large, yellow plantains
  • vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Wash and peel plantains. Slice into thin rounds.
  2. In a large frying pan, heat ¼ inch oil over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add plantain slices and fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Remove from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
