Fried Plantains are eaten as an Ethiopian food recipe.
- 3 large, yellow plantains
- vegetable oil
- Wash and peel plantains. Slice into thin rounds.
- In a large frying pan, heat ¼ inch oil over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add plantain slices and fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
